Decanter Chest with Inlaid Wood
|
This inlaid 18th century, solid cherry wood inlaid decanter
chest, would have been proudly displayed on a Chippendale Pie Crust Tea Table or Queen
Anne Lowboy. Traditionally displayed in pairs, the 2 glass decanters within the wooden
chest held the finest of liquors and would have been kept locked until special occasions.
In this reproduction, the solid cherry inlaid decanter chest
is accented with maple and other wood inlays. Quality attributes of this Decanter chest
are 4 solid brass feet, 2 solid brass handles, and 2 proportionate glass decanters.
Your hand crafted inlaid decanter chest can be displayed on a mantel shelf, Chippendale
Pie Crust Table or an Oxbow Chest of Drawers. This inlaid decanter chest is a perfect
addition to any room in the house or office, in which it is sure to become a conversation
piece.
