Slant
Top Chippendale Desk circa 1760-1780
|
This is a fine example of a Chippendale style slant front desk replica.
The form here is carried over from the Queen Anne period. This is a superb example
of a Massachusetts style slant top desk, in the mid Chippendale era. An exceptional
example of contemporary block front furniture, with a more desirable size for today's
homes. Accessorize your desk with a fretwork mirror, Apple, Pear or Bombay Tea Caddy.
The Inlaid Decanter Chest is a popular addition to this chippendale slant top desk.
