Porringer End Table
|
This 18th century style Queen Anne End Table is a scaled down version of our equally beautiful Porringer Top Tea Table, with the addition of a small functional drawer. The Porringer Top End Table with scalloped corners is accentuated by the shaped apron sides that are met by the graceful cabriole legs with pad feet. As with the Porringer Top Tea Table the name porringer is believed to be given these tables because of the rounded or scalloped corners. Because of their small size and portability, these tables were used as candle tables as well as breakfast tables. This table would be ideal for displaying one of our Tea Caddies.
