     The Chippendale Candle ~ Dishtop Stand was designed with a portability and stability intent. As a furniture design, this antique furniture reproduction serves many functions, holding a candle, a brandy or wine stand, as well as an auxiliary tea table. Originally called Dishtop stands, due to the shape of the top, this Candle Stand features a 15 ¾” diameter dishtop.

      The slender turned pedestal and cabriole legs with rounded knees give excellent lift to the ankles of this table. Due to improvements in lighting the Candlestands became somewhat obsolete, but these small stands remain quite versatile.
